I’m usually not a big fan of the heritage flight since the jets drown out the pleasant sound of the Merlin engine, but this one was special. Having the F-22, F-16, F-4 and P-51 really put this over the top.
Not really a dog fight here, but it looks a lot like one. I didn’t get the full shot because the F-4 and F-16 were too far behind, but all four jets made there pass right over Waterfront Park.
These videos can’t convey the experience of having a Jet fly less than 1,500 feet over your head at MILITARY power. True to form, this video doesn’t fully capture the spectacle of this F-16 making hay down the Ohio River. |
