Ashland Park is on a thin strip of land along the Ohio River in
Clarksville Indiana
. It has some playground equipment and a shelter, but more importantly is
has sweeping views of the
Ohio River
and Downtown Louisville. Mature trees provide excellent shelter from the summer
sun and a breeze usually comes off the river.
The playground equipment is adequate and appropriate for
most age groups. The shelter is top notch and would be a great place for reunions
or gatherings because of the view and atmosphere. Within walking distance
are an ice-cream shop and the Falls of the
Ohio
state park.
