Houndz Lane Park is a small neighborhood park right off of Hurstbourne Parkway   and Westport road.  It recently underwent some renovation and is now equipped with a 1^st rate play structure, shelter and small bridge over the stream the runs through the park.  The park also has tennis courts, practice soccer goals and some open areas for activities.  In general, the park is not large enough or equipped for major attractions, but it’s definitely become one of the nicer neighborhood parks in the east end.  The stream and large trees creates a picturesque and relaxing atmosphere for a lunch break or afternoon with the kids.  There is a walking trail, but it’s too short to be of anything more than aesthetic value.
