  Des Pres is mid-sized park located off Taylorsville road in between Hurstbourne and Breckenridge roads.  Its notable features include a well manicured walking trail and playground with digging equipment, a giant parasol and a Sway Fun rocker.  The park also has tennis and basketball courts, several baseball fields and a nice picnic structure.  Des Pres is a pleasant little park for nearby residents, but it doesn’t have any attractions interesting enough to draw visitors from outlying areas.
